FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Baltimore, MD - Redshred a leading innovator in AI-powered text analytics and document understanding technology is proud to announce the signing of a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract for its groundbreaking Traceable and Reliable AI for Computing Energy Efficiency (TRACEE) project.
TRACEE addresses the DLA's critical need for an advanced energy-use calculation tool. By leveraging cutting-edge large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and intelligent prompt engineering, Redshred will revolutionize how energy efficiency is computed in manufacturing.
Redshred's innovative system will ingest scientific and engineering papers to calculate energy usage and emissions throughout the various manufacturing processes. The project will showcase the ability of LLMs to understand, calculate, and reason within the mathematical domain via a more direct chain-of-thought (CoT) mechanism.
TRACEE's key features include:
"This contract represents a significant milestone for Redshred and our mission to help users digitally transform document-based content to support their evolving needs," said Jim Kukla, Co-Founder at Redshred. "TRACEE has the potential to transform how the DLA evaluates and optimizes energy efficiency within procurement processes across the Department of Defense and beyond."
