We’re seeking high-caliber high-school and college undergrad interns who excel at problem solving for our summer internship program.
As part of our summer internship program you will have the opportunity to work on a National Science Foundation-funded R&D commercialization project. You will be working with RedShred and its university partner, UMBC. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on the front lines of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing. The descriptions are below. Collect, clean and organize structured and unstructured data to produce visualizations that are easy for non-experts to understand. Design visualizations to create fast, "at-a-glance’ understanding of voluminous data that is too hard for people to consume directly. Identify trends and changes in text data over time. Create visualizations that can be embedded in reports and content-marketing materials.
Collect, organize and clean data from unstructured and structured sources such as text, csv and xml. Label the data for use in various models. Work with the engineering team to develop and test models for accuracy and usefulness to the end-user.
